About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Expert to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both defensive security operations and offensive penetration testing, with a strong understanding of modern security frameworks and tools. You will play a critical role in protecting our systems, networks, and data from evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, networks, and systems
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
- Implement, configure, and manage security tools such as:
- Firewalls
- IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems)
- SIEM solutions
- Endpoint protection systems
- Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Conduct security audits and ensure systems adhere to best practices
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure secure system architecture
- Prepare detailed security reports, risk assessments, and remediation plans
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of defensive security and offensive security (ethical hacking / penetration testing)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Nessus
- Metasploit
- Burp Suite
- Wireshark
- Splunk
- Good understanding of network protocols, system vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
- Experience in securing web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS/Azure is a plus)
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure compliance with global security standards and frameworks, including:
- ISO 27001
- GDPR
- SOC 2
- Assist in implementing and maintaining organizational security policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cyber security.
